LEBW, Anderson-Shapiro, WLF team up for 2nd Annual Health Fair

The Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin, Anderson & Shapiro Eye Surgeons, and Wisconsin Lions Foundation are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Health Fair. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Anderson & Shapiro Eye Surgeons clinic at 1200 John Q. Hammons Drive, Madison, WI 53717.

This year’s event will feature free adult vision screenings and a free eyeglass fitting for adults who need eyeglasses. There will also be Lions volunteers at this event to help provide vision screening to children. A vision screening is not a complete eye exam. The screening is to determine whether or not a person requires eyeglasses. The Wisconsin Lions Foundation provides free recycled eyeglasses for attendees needing prescription glasses. In addition, the health fair will have Lions on hand to deliver educational materials about diabetes awareness and prevention and information about organ, eye, and tissue donation.

Eyeglasses are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and no reservations are needed to attend this event. Spanish interpreters will be available to help attendees navigate the event.
