Each year, the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin recognizes and celebrates those who play a crucial role in their mission of Giving the Gift of Sight: our LEBW Transporters. The Dispatcher and Transporter of the Year awards highlight individuals who demonstrate dedication, compassion, and commitment to this life-changing cause. These awardees embody the spirit of service and selflessness by going above and beyond their duties. As many as five dispatchers and five transporters are recognized with this award each year.
Starting in the 2024-2025 Lions Year, we are asking dispatchers, transporters, our regional coordinators, and other Lions to nominate the dispatchers and transporters in your clubs and districts who deserve this award. The Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin Transporter Council will review the nominations and select the recipients.
